You must be at least 13 years old, and at least 16 where your local law requires a higher age for consent to data processing. You confirm that you are not barred from using the service under any applicable law and that you have never had a Whispry account permanently banned for a safety violation.

One person may hold one account. Accounts are personal; you may not sell, rent, share or transfer an account, a Secret ID or a Pro entitlement.

Your email address is used only to authenticate you and to send account and safety notices. It is never displayed to other members. Everything you publish appears under a persistent anonymous Whispry ID and your chosen nickname.

Nicknames are permanent and cannot be changed after registration. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

Anonymity toward other members is not anonymity toward the law. Where we are legally compelled, we may disclose the limited account records we hold.

Whispry exists so people can say the things they cannot say elsewhere. That only works if the space stays safe. The following are prohibited and are removed on sight:

• Harassment, bullying, stalking, threats or incitement to violence.
• Hate speech targeting people by race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, gender or sexual orientation.
• Sexual content involving minors, or any sexualisation of a minor, in any form.
• Doxxing — publishing names, addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, images or any other information that identifies a real person, including yourself.
• Encouraging self-harm or suicide. Posts seeking support are welcome; posts urging harm are not.
• Spam, scams, phishing, malware, referral farming and commercial advertising.
• Impersonating staff, official Whispry content, or another member.
• Automated scraping, bulk downloading, or any attempt to de-anonymise other members.

You keep ownership of what you write. By posting, you grant Whispry a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies retained in backups or moderation records for a limited period.

You confirm that you have the right to post what you post and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. You are solely responsible for your posts, polls and comments.

Reports from members are reviewed by staff. Content that reaches the report threshold is hidden automatically pending review. Depending on severity and history, we may remove content, restrict posting, suspend an account temporarily, or ban it permanently — with or without prior notice.

If you believe a decision was wrong, reply to the notification or email support and we will re-review. We keep a moderation audit trail so decisions can be checked.

Free accounts may create one post and one poll per calendar day, calculated in the Asia/Jerusalem timezone. Counters reset at 12:00 AM Jerusalem time. Deleted items still count toward that day's limit.

Reading official daily content, commenting, reacting, voting, saving and sharing remain available on the free plan. Reading other members' comments is a Pro feature.

Whispry Pro costs $9.99 per access period. Access begins the moment the store purchase is verified and ends at 11:59:59 PM on the last day of that calendar month in Jerusalem time. It is sold as a non-renewing access product; it is not presented or billed as an auto-renewable subscription.

Access is calculated from the verified store transaction, never from your device clock. Changing your device date or timezone does not extend access.

You cannot purchase Pro twice while access is active, and a purchase made on one store account cannot be attached to a different Whispry account. Use "Restore Purchases" if you reinstall the app.

Payments are processed by the app store, so refunds are handled under that store's policy, not by Whispry directly. If a purchase is refunded, reversed or revoked by the store, Pro access ends immediately.

Unused time in an access period is not refundable except where required by law. Deleting your account, or being banned for a safety violation, forfeits any remaining Pro time without refund.

Your account returns to Free. Your posts, polls, comments and saved items are kept, but pinned and boosted posts are released, detailed engagement data is locked, other members' comments become unreadable again, and daily creation limits apply from the next post.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your account record, posts, polls, comments, reactions, saved items and notifications are erased and your Secret ID is retired and never reissued.

Deletion cannot be undone and does not refund Pro time. Limited records may persist in backups and in moderation or fraud logs for a short retention period, and where the law requires us to keep them.

Whispry is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise uninterrupted service, and features may be added, changed or removed. We may suspend the service for maintenance or for safety reasons.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Whispry is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may update these terms as Whispry evolves. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Whispry after an update means you accept the revised terms; if you do not, delete your account.
